Sihanoukville Day 1: Mexicana

After our long trip down to the beach, we arrived at our hotel where we immediately jumped into the shower and into the pool to wash away our tiredness (and all the dust from the road :s). Because we didn’t get a single meal during our 8 hour trip, we were all starving. For some reason, we were craving mexican food so we decided to go to the mexican restaurant across the street, Mexicana.

Mexicana - cheap mexican food. They also have places to stay behind the restaurant.

We were there during the happy hour which was from 5pm – 7pm, which means you can get 2 starters, 2 entrees and 2 Anchor drafts for $15. So we decided to get one of those and share since it was ALOT of food.

2 Anchor drafts

Appetizer - Jalapeno Poppers

Appetizer - Potato Wedges

2 Entrees - Chicken Quesadilla & Spicy Meatballs

The portions were big, and the food overall was really good. I would say it is pretty pricey for the beach since you can get really cheap meals at the beach but if you are up for some change (like when you get sick of eating fried rice, seafood and khmer food), I would recommend Mexicana. The happy hour is definitely worth it.

Please say hi!
